July 23, 2007: Sometimes you end up at the right spot at the right time !!!

Kathy and I and the kids were at the Asheville zoo waiting to watch the elephants get their bath just to the right of this photo. I guess these two enjoy watching the elephants get scrubbed just as much as the rest of us. It was really entertaining ! I guess the zebra stayed up there for about an hour and half. Good o'l giraffe has a strong neck doesn't he...

I was having some problems with one of my drainage pipes in the back yard so - -- I went back to take a look and see what was holding up the water. Imagine my surprise??? So I called my friend Frank O. to take care of this minor problem. ...

Found out last night that Keith is receiving an academic award as top male 7th grader. Not bad huh ? his teacher called last night. He doesn't know. he will receive June 4th at awards assembly. proud daddy will be there. Kristy still outstanding in gymnastics. attending 4 hours a week of cheer team and gymnastics. headed to Panama city beachon june 9th. really looking forward to it. boat running great. out twice laready. hot and dry here already. hardwood floors look great. hope you are well.

I have not updated this site for a year, so decided to add a little info and pictures later. Spring has sprung and bradford pears and pink dogwoods and forsythia are in full bloom. Keith is becoming an all-star in baseball and Kristy aka "flipper" has enrolled in advanced gymnastics and cheerleading -- traveling league competition. She is one of the fliers - which means she's on top of the mounts and of course gets to "fly" through the air a lot. Kathy and I are doing great and keeping busy with our wonderful family. march 22, 2007
